Here come the Sweet 16... in the Chew Chainz Ultimate Kid's Movie Bracket

The Sweet 16 is set for our Chew Chainz Ultimate Kid's Movie March Madness bracket  A few heavyweights fell in Round 2, with both #1 Snow White & #2 Beauty & The Beast bowing out in the Disney Old School Region.

But, we are left with some truly tough match-ups in the Round of 16 where Aladdin and The Little Mermaid will face-off in an epic early 90's tilt.  The Disney New School Region has multiple contenders going head-to-head, with Frozen taking on Up, after narrowly escaping an upset vs. Monsters, Inc in the previous round.  The other match-up has Finding Nemo looking to continue its dominant run, but this time against much stiffer competition from Toy Story.

#12 Seeds Roll in Round 1: Make Your Round 2 Picks for the Greatest Kid's Movie Ever

The first round of the Chew Chainz Ultimate Kid's Movie bracket delivered on its March Madness promise.  Just like the NCAA, our #12-seeds rolled to three shocking upsets over the #5-seeds, with 101 Dalmatians beating out the Jungle Book, The Land Before Time crushing The LEGO Movie, and Hook eking out a thrilling, OT victory against The Karate Kid.  Wax-off Daniel-San because, "looky, looky, we've got Hooky," blazing through to the next round.

Finding Nemo was the only film to win a unanimous victory in Round 1 (against Hercules).  And, all three Toy Story films rolled to comfortable victories.  Pixar certainly looked like the power conference in Round 1.

Chew Chainz Ultimate Kid's Movie Bracket

I know we’re late to the party, but we had our first screening of Frozen this weekend at Chew Chainz HQ.  I was skeptical, but it lived up to the hype.  Certainly, it’s the top Disney animated flick to come down the pike in a while, but how does it stack up historically?  In the spirit of March Madness, we’re launching a NCAA-style, field of 64, single-elimination bracket challenge to identify the best kid’s movies… ever.
